12.12.2007: Novel Batch ALD Reactor Design Wins New Orders for Picosun
Helsinki, Finland − December 12, 2007 - Finnish Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) equipment manufacturer Picosun Oy report on their novel SUNALE™PicoBatch ALD tool. First SUNALE™ PicoBatch ALD system has been accepted for production at a customer site. The tool is used for coating a batch of 25 wafers simultaneously.

Picosun has entered into an agreement of cooperation with Professor Charles H. Winter of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA.

01.07.2007: Picosun opens new headquarters in the United States
To better serve our North American customers, Picosun has opened a new office located in the historic Dime Building in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

20.06.2007: Picosun's new Board of Directors has been appointed
HELSINKI, Finland - June 20, 2007 - The annual Shareholders' Meeting of Picosun Oy has elected Prof. Jorma Routti, Prof. Lauri Niinistö, and Dr. Tuomo Suntola as new Board members. All the old members continue in the Board.

18.06.2007: Picosun's new generation ALD reactor will be developed in a TEKES project
ALD tool manufacturer Picosun Oy has started a development project of a new generation ALD reactor. The total budget of the program is 1,5 M € and the main provider of funds is Tekes (Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation).

30.05.2007: Dr. Riikka Puurunen awarded the Young Scientist Prize of the Year
The Technological Foundation of Finland (Tekniikan edistämissäätiö) awarded Dr. Riikka Puurunen, a senior researcher of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the Young Scientist Prize of the year 2007.

Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics in Halle and Finnish Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) reactor manufacturer Picosun Oy announce their co-operation in Atomic Layer Deposition.

03.04.2007: IZASA S.A. to distribute Picosun products in Spain and Portugal
Picosun Oy and IZASA S.A have entered into co-operation in the distribution of Picosun's ALD products in Spain and Portugal.
